The Light Up trail has been designed to be as accessible as possible, most of the route is on hard standing paths but we would advise there is a 100 metre walk from the car park which is bumpy to the start of the ticketing entrance trackway and a further 200 metres to the entrance and start of the trail. This is followed by at least one steep hill at the beginning of the trail that requires a carer to push hard. The trail is approximately one mile in length and if the weather is bad it can make the path more muddy than normal. We long for it to be accessible to everyone but fold up wheel chairs will not make the trail, we highly recommend you bring a four wheel drive or a motorised wheel chair. If you find being outside challenging this may not be the trail for you as it will take at least an hour maybe more and it is rugged terrain in places. The route is designed so it can be viewed from the path, however there is uneven ground in places as it is a free field site. We have added additional pedestrian trackway where necessary to cross the field and there are areas where this is on a gradient. If you have mobility requirements, please ensure you can get round unaided or with a carer for support. It it rains, it may get muddy and access may be difficult. Our stewards are on hand to give support and advise when needed.
If you choose to book as a wheelchair user you will be asked to use Mouse Lane entrance accessed through Steyning, it is the back entrance leading up to the main house.
Are there any discounts?
If you require a carer ticket please book your required standard tickets then contact us within 7 days (proof of DLA or Compass Cards will be required) to enable us to process a free carer ticket.

Will there be strobe lighting?
Whilst no single source of lighting regularly strobes at high frequency, the volume of light fixtures in some areas could raise the frequency of light flashes and strobing across multiple sources to a level where it may be considered unsafe for people who are affected by photo-sensitive epilepsy.
